FAQs

We get to asked this question all the time. The simple answer is that we are the longest running boat club on the lake and we charge exactly what we need to in order to remain profitable and take care of our families that serve you. We are not a corporate entity and we have no shareholders. We are not trying to become rich but simply want to share the cost of boating. It works out for everybody!
Absolutely. You will be given a unique username and password which will allow you to book whatever boat you want at either location that you choose. Most members will fluctuate between locations based on the activities they have planned for a particular trip. It is up to you!
Our memberships are designed for families and individuals. Typically a full access membership will be allowed two named users within the same immediate family. This does not include adult children, (that departs from a traditional full access membership and becomes a joint membership). Now this only pertains to who is authorized to come and pick up a boat. The actual captain of the boat that day. You are allowed to bring as many guests as you like so long as you don’t bring more than the capacity of the boat.
Absolutely! Each boat is insured for $300,000 liability insurance per incident as well as the actual hull-value of the boat for accidental damages. Members are responsible for meeting the deductible though.
That is absolutely no problem. One of the most rewarding parts of owning this boat club is watching people with zero to little experience become avid boaters. Every new member is going to complete an introductory boating lesson on the water which is going to instruct members on the basics of boating. This lesson usually lasts around 1 1/2 hours. In addition to this we offer free regularly scheduled training that is available for all of our members to go over a variety of different boating topics and techniques.
Yes! While our boats are not allowed to be out on the open water between sunset and sunrise, any member that has a dock at which they can secure the boat overnight is welcome to keep the boat overnight. Many members live on the water and will keep a boat for up to three consecutive days.
Absolutely. We even have a special party yacht just for such events! You can check it out HERE. The Aquaventure boat club is all about fun. We will often come up with movie nights, dinner cruises, and a host of all types of other activities to present opportunities to hang out with your fellow club members.
Unfortunately we do not have a trial membership. Our memberships are in high demand and it is just not very practical to go through everything necessary to get a member active within our system for just a trial period. However before signing up into the club you will always be given the opportunity to visit with us and have all of your questions answered 100% truthfully and allow you to make sure that it is the right decision for your family.
No. This is a common question but fuel is expensive. There’s no way to get around that! However many of our members are much more frugal with their fuel expenses than others. Because the cost of gasoline fluctuates and use from member to member fluctuates even more greatly, members simply pay for the fuel that they have used while they were on the water. We always gas the boat back up for you, and you simply pay for your gas on the way out.
Absolutely not. Ever since the first day we opened, we have never charged extra for any type of water sports equipment that we offer. It is offered on a first come, first served basis. This includes water skis, knee boards, wakeboards, surfboards, tubes and zup boards.
